Model version information file

The dialogue box that appeared on your screen showed the following message:

The model format of modelname is version modelversion.
This release of PowerShape expects models of format version psversion.
The model is of a newer format and cannot be read into this release.


To access this model:

  1. Open this model in the latest version of PowerShape.
  2. From the File menu, select Export to display the Export dialogue box.
  3. Move to the drive and folder where you want to save the model.
  4. Type in the name of the model in the File name box.
  5. Click on the down arrow at the end of the Save as type combo box and select *.PSModelVerpsversion.
    Note:
      You need *.PSModelVer2 if this version of PowerShape is 3112 or 4016.
      You need *.PSModelVer3 if this version of PowerShape is 4102.
      You need *.PSModelVer5 if this version of PowerShape is 4232.
      You need *.PSModelVer6 if this version of PowerShape is 5020.
      You need *.PSModelVer7 if this version of PowerShape is 5131.
      You need *.PSModelVer8 if this version of PowerShape is 5234.
      You need *.PSModelVer9 if this version of PowerShape is 5330.
      You need *.PSModelVer10 if this version of PowerShape is 5440.
      You need *.PSModelVer11 if this version of PowerShape is 5540.
      You need *.PSModelVer12 if this version of PowerShape is 5630.
      You need *.PSModelVer13 if this version of PowerShape is 5730.
      You need *.PSModelVer14 if this version of PowerShape is 5820.
      You need *.PSModelVer15 if this version of PowerShape is 6060.
      You need *.PSModelVer17 if this version of PowerShape is 7140.
      You need *.PSModelVer18 if this version of PowerShape is 7240 or 7350.
      You need *.PSModelVer19 if this version of PowerShape is 7440.
      You need *.PSModelVer20 if this version of PowerShape is 8080 or 8214.
      You need *.PSModelVer21 if this version of PowerShape is 9020.
      You need *.PSModelVer22 if this version of PowerShape is 9020.

      You need *.PSModelVer24 if this version of PowerShape is 13235.
  6. Click Save.
  7. To open the exported model into this version of PowerShape, you need to import it.
